Robbed at Gunpoint

To put myself through school, I have to work the graveyard shift at a gas station. It’s not in a bad neighborhood or anything. As a matter of fact, most nights I can just sit around without a care in the world.
Last week, though, I was robbed at gunpoint.
Around four a.m. this pick-up truck pulled up in front of the door. It was a nice one, with a shiny new black paint job with custom designs, lifts for going off-road, and fog lights on top. Nobody got out at first, but I didn’t think anything of it. I figured they were probably getting money together to buy smokes and snacks or something like that. I just went back to doing a crossword and listening to music.
Next thing I know, three guys wearing ski masks crashed through the door with semi-automatic weapons, and I was scared to death.
It went really fast. I just gave them all the money in the register. They wanted me to open the safe, but I couldn’t, and I guess they weren’t in the mood to stick around, so that was that. I called the police, and they took my statement. It was an incredibly crazy night!
When I got home, I went on the Internet to an airsoft gun website to see if I could get myself some ‘fake’ protection. The first ones I looked through were the Echo1 airsoft guns. Then I saw the KWA guns, and then I knew that was the gun I really wanted. I bought one online and it was at my house in a few days. I brought that gun to work everyday just in case those guys ever came back. I didn’t want to be the only one without a gun next time!
