Helping Animals or People; Choosing a Career
By Jenny in Education | 0 comments
I am having a tough time trying to plan my future because I am mixed on what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to be 100% sure of the career I will choose and make education plans to begin learning, so that I can be in my chosen field soon after I graduate.
My decision is between getting a veterinary technology education or to enroll into the healthcare program in MO. I have always been fond of animals; adopting stray cats and dogs and caring for homeless animals. I think that I would also enjoy being a full time nurse at the hospital where my mother works, too.
The college that I have chosen here in Missouri is called Sanford Brown Missouri and they offer coursework for both careers. The two programs are both accredited by reputable organizations. The veterinary technology program has backing by the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Board of Nursing has approved the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the college. I’ve done an extensive amount of research on both careers and the college, also. Now I simply need to make my decision on what I want to do for the rest of my life.
