While I was coming home from work last week a lady ran a red light and caused one heck of an accident. I totally didn’t see her until it was way beyond too late to do anything. I’ll tell you what, when that airbag exploded in my face I felt like somebody really big had punched me in the face. I was seeing stars!

I am feeling pretty lucky though. My Toyota pickup truck is totaled, but all I got was a broken thumb and a chipped tooth. The police gave her a few tickets, but the rest of us involved were not found to be at any fault. And I have to say that her insurance company is really stepping up. It’s like her insurance company knows that if they don’t really step up, one of us or all of us are going to sue the pants off this lady.

The thumb got taken care of right away, but the chipped tooth required a little more work. I talked to her insurance adjuster and he said instead of going to my regular San Jose dentist, I should see a special cosmetic dentist. Well that sounds great to me! I’m going to try to milk this one for all it is worth and maybe get a smile makeover on their dime.
