The field of medicine, while rewarding, is not without risks.  Physicians face risks every day in their profession due to the nature of their work.  It doesn’t matter whether you are a pediatrician or an ER doctor, you stand the chance to become disabled.  As a result, disability insurance for the physician is crucial.
