Has anyone ever heard of using magnets in medicine?  I see commercials for those magnetic bracelets all of the time.  I have to admit that I just assumed it was completely phony.  That was not really fair of me though.  I came to a snap judgment about magnetic therapy without doing any research. 

A coworker of mine has arthritis and she swears that medical magnets have really helped her to manage her pain.  I get really, really bad headaches and I was hoping that magnets might help me to deal with my pain.  I’m not sure how wearing a bracelet can help with headache pain but I’m at the point where I’m willing to try just about anything. 

I’m just not even sure where to go for help with this.  Should I ask my regular doctor or is there a specialist who deals with this kind of thing?  There is a place pretty close to where I work.  I cannot remember exactly what it is called but it is some type of wellness center.  I’m going to check it out and see if they can help.  Even if they don’t do magnet therapy, maybe they can recommend someone who does.  If the magnet thing helps even a little, it would be worth it.
