Why Can’t Everyone Just Play Fair in Business

The competitiveness and rewards of top search engine rankings has led to many under handed tactics taking place. Fake complaints and other adversarial tactics are being utilized more often today than ever before. If you don’t have a good online reputation management strategy in place, you could fall victim to shady tactics that could hurt your brand and your bottom line. There are horror stories regarding things that competitors have done to ruin the online reputations others have worked hard for. Some of the stuff I’ve heard about is a felony and would land the perpetrators in jail. It just goes to confirm how far people will go to make sure they get to the top.
