My father-in-law recently put a mounted wall fountain in his small backyard.  He put it up on the cinder block fence that surrounds his yard.  He also has raised beds for planting and has planted a variety of different vegetables and flowers.  It really is a neat mix of color, green and sound because of the fountain.  The decorative wall fountain really enhances the beauty of the vegetable/flower garden.  It is hard to think that adding something else to a garden could make it even prettier but the fountain really does. 

Fountains come in a variety of different varieties as well as styles.  You can mount them on the wall, and you can have them freestanding in the middle of the garden.  Mounted wall fountains  are nice because in a smaller space they take up little space but enhance the area just as much as one that would be put in the middle of the yard.  The ones in the middle of the yard that are freestanding often have four sides that drip water.  So the water can be seen from all angles instead of just straight on. Both ways of having a fountain just adds so much to the whole garden experience.
