Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week.  Since it is supposed to be a day of rest, I don’t work, and I spend some time out shopping after I go to church.  I guess it is a bit of a ritual, but it gives me the chance to spend some time with my mother who is turning 84 later this year.

Today will be my mother’s turn to pick where we go for lunch, so I get the dubious honor of picking the stores that we are going to visit.  I have been thinking about what we need around the home and I think that we will have to go checkout the western bedding sets at the mall.  Our bed is looking a little ratty, so I am sure that my mother would approve if we were to buy some “decent bedding”.

But now that I think of it, I might need to get something for me as well.  There have been some western wear fashion outfits that I have had my eyes on, and I think today might be a good day to pick them up.  It will be convenient if my mother is there as I wanted to get a second opinion before I go through the purchase.
