The boat parts that I find that I need the most are easily found once I start to look for them.  It is always helpful to know exactly what you want so that you can specifically find what you are looking for.  I most recently started to look for mercury outboard parts.  This new boat that I got for my son was a fixer upper and I wanted to make sure that I was getting him a quality replacement part.  When I first got my boat, I did research on what parts were the best and I am happy with the mercury parts.

And if you know where to find the right parts, you can also find the right boat accessories.  Accessories are not always necessary for the safety or the running of the boat, but sometimes they really can make your boat feel better because you have the “something” that nobody else has.  My family always gets a quick out of it when I come home with something new to dress up or add to our boat.  I think my favorite boat accessory was a dancing pink flamingo that made everyone laugh when we put it out.
